I have more than 25 years of experience as a vocal instructor. I hold a Master’s Degree in Voice Performance from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor’s Degree in Voice Performance from Florida State University. Upon moving to NY in the mid 90’s I continued my training with some of the best singing teachers in city, spending a number of years in the vocal studios of Dr. Robert White, Arthur Levy, Mark Oswald and Fred Carama developing my craft. I have also studied voice with Eric van Hoven, James Pierce, Dr. Eric Tucker, and I studied Alexander Technique and voice for several years with Katherine Keyes.

I have trained extensively as an actor for the past 20 years in New York City. My teachers and training include James Saito, Carol Rosenfeld (HB Studios), Fred Kareman (Carnegie Hall Studios), Edith Meeks (HB Studios), The Barrow Group, and Charles Tuthill, and I was a company member of the 2012 Public Theater Shakespeare Lab.

This comprehensive training as a singer and actor, combined with more than 20 years of extensive performing experience in TV, Films, Opera, Broadway, Off-Broadway, and regional theaters throughout the country, enables me to offer students solid core principles of both singing and acting, along with great insight into the current performance and audition requirements.

My students have appeared in:

TV/film: Madame Secretary (CBS), Hostages (CBS), Off Duty (NBC pilot), One Life to Live (ABC), Lights Out (FX), Blue Bloods (CBS), It’s Complicated (starring Meryl Streep), Seeds - feature film
