Discover the Talents of Martín Solá: A True Broadway Artist

Martín Solá’s incredible journey in the arts has taken him from Broadway stages to prestigious theater companies, captivating audiences with his range and passion. You may have seen him shine on Broadway in productions like Buena Vista social Club, How to Dance in Ohio, On Your Feet!, the Tony Award-winning The King and I, Coram Boy, and Baz Luhrmann’s La Bohème. He’s also worked with renowned institutions such as New York City Opera, The Public Theater, City Center Encores!, and Roundabout Theatre Company. He recently appeared in Suzan-Lori Parks’ Plays for the Plague Year at The Public Theater.

But that's not all—Martín has been part of the Tony Award-winning Broadway Inspirational Voices since 2019, sharing his soulful voice with fans and fellow performers alike. He’s also had the honor of being a featured artist with The New York Pops at Carnegie Hall during the Bernstein Festival and has even had the privilege of singing on television for the legendary Andrea Bocelli.

Martín has been steadily building an impressive body of work in film and television, with roles that showcase both range and depth. He appeared as Father Russo in the hit Netflix series Archive 81, and brought his talent to network favorites like CBS's FBI and NBC’s Law & Order: SVU.

During the pandemic, Martín stepped behind the camera to write, direct, and star in his debut short film, May I Take Your Plate—a powerful piece that earned Best Short Film and Best Actor honors at both the International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival and the New York City Downtown Film Festival.

His film credits as an actor include the indie dramas Ten Minutes to Midnight, Missguidance, and I Look at You All—each offering unique, character-driven stories that highlight Martín’s depth and versatility on screen.

Other past work includes the award-winning short Sábado Morning, directed by acclaimed Puerto Rican filmmaker Ramon Ricard; a role in the CBS primetime drama Hostages; and a standout performance in the award-winning short film Knights in Newark.
